Spending a summer in humid Georgia to bring this weirdo color coordinated story to life was a fantastically fun and tough project. The handcrafted details were a delight to create late into the wee hours of the night. We fully embraced the fake surrealist world of the “perfect” lives these women lived.

My first go at live action animation was very rewarding. This is a pain stackingly slow process, yet so collaborative and stylistic that the lemonade was worth the squeeze.

Director Alexis Jacknow has a unique way of telling stories and with this project she took risks and encouraged crew members to do the same.  Even on a shoestring budget I think we churned out something of value. I loved the chemstry between Rick our DP, Alexis, and myself -- it felt like a natural collaboration.

Live shows are a whole different beast. Always a little stressful and a jult of thrill to the spine once the train leaves the station. I enjoy the learning oppurtunities that come with this different medium, even if I can’t fully apperciate those lessons until post show.
